Air Tightness Testing

Air tightness testing is a procedure used to measure the level of leaks and unwanted drafts within a building fabric. Too much air leakage leads to heat loss, resulting in higher CO2 emissions. Building Regulations, since 2006, require that new dwellings comply with Part F of the buildings Regulations Northern Ireland. This means that most new houses must undergo an Air Tightness Test to prove compliance. CPL Services will test your building to ATTMA TS1 standards using UKAS calibrated equipment and if necessary assist you to identify any air leakage which may need to be sealed.
